We recommend using this opportunity to disconnect and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountain town.* **AIR CONDITIONER AMENTITY** We have equipped each bedroom with one AC window unit, ensuring a cool and cozy atmosphere. However, please be aware that our cabin does not have central AC, which is typical for the area due to the generally mild local weather conditions. These AC units are specifically designed to cool down the bedrooms only. With warm days ranging from the 70s to 80s (Fahrenheit) and cool nights in the 40s to 50s, you'll have the perfect balance for outdoor activities and peaceful rest. We kindly request that you use the AC units responsibly. When you're not in the bedrooms or when the weather allows, we encourage you to turn off the AC units to conserve energy. This helps us maintain an ideal temperature in the bedrooms while being mindful of our resources. **HEAT AMENITY** Heat: Our cabin is equipped with multiple portable heaters, which can be easily moved to any room in the cabin. There is also a wall heater in the upstairs bedroom that can be adjusted by the dial. Please note that during the winter season, the propane heater serves as an emergency backup and is set to 50 degrees. With these heaters, you can stay warm and cozy during your stay, no matter how chilly it gets outside. We understand that animals are an important part of many people's lives, but for our safety, we cannot make exceptions to this policy. Moreover, the remote location of our property makes veterinary care difficult to access in case of an emergency, putting animals at risk if they become ill or injured during their stay. We have consulted with a legal professional and determined that we are exempt from accommodating service and emotional support animals due to our medical conditions. Accommodating such animals would impose an undue financial or administrative burden on us and would fundamentally alter the nature of our business. Our area is known for bears and mountain lions, and attracting these animals with pets could be dangerous for both humans and animals. Moreover, allowing animals could pose a risk for property damage and harm to guests and animals. Our property is not fenced in and is located in a National Forest, where animals are allowed but must be on a 6ft leash at all times to ensure their safety as well as that of our guests. Breaking this rule would put our property, guests, and animals in danger due to the area's wildlife. Accommodating such animals would impose an undue financial burden. Therefore, we have a strict no-animals policy to ensure the safety of our guests, protect our property, and prevent harm to all animals.
